We have a complete Sport Pilot Training program from start to finish with
light-sport aircraft, instructors, training materials, FAA testing facilities, and FAA examiners, all in one central location near beautiful Lake Tahoe. We design the training program specific to you. Instruction with Paul Hamilton using the national recognised and industry standard “Hamilton Pilot Training System” (HPTS) prepares you to fly safely and with confidence while preparing you for the FAA tests. The Sport Pilot Training Syllabus is used as a student workbook with specific lesson plans to learn to fly with the most efficient progression possible. Students always know where they are in the program and what needs to be accomplished to obtain a sport pilot certificate.

Local Reno/Tahoe Operations
Flight training is typically done at the Carson City Airport with local flights to Truckee, Minden, South Lake Tahoe, Dayton and Silver Springs airports. We meet at the Sterling Air/Carson Aviation Adventures building at the main airport gate on the south side of the Carson City Airport. When you drive into the airport look for the Sterling Air building on the right.

Training for International Applicents
Paul is a TSA approved training provider and is allowed to train non US citizens (aliens) that have a valid foreign passport and apply to the TSA for primary flight training. If you are interested in applying the TSA web site with the procedures is at the www.FlightSchoolCanidates.gov web site.
National Operations
Our mobile training facility, including an N numbered Trike can be brought to you. Or, Paul can travel to any location in the USA to meet you for training and Checkrides plus expenses.
